Spotify - Power of Paper Campaign

A print campaign made for Spotify for Art Direction II at Temple University.

Creative Strategy: The challenge for this project was to choose a company who usually advertises themselves online and incorporate the use of paper in a unique way. The star of this campaign is a flexi disc postcard. This is a postcard that has a vinyl pressing on it, usually only one song. Because vinyl records have been making a comeback for quite some time now, the mission of the campaign is to send the postcard to people who have not yet signed up for Spotify Premium.

Flexi Disc Postcard - Front

Because the postcards are so small, only 5x7 inches, the vinyl pressing can hold one song. The postcards sent out would be a single recorded by an artist with their own personal design on the front side.

Flex Disc Postcard - Back

The back of the postcard includes all they need to send it to you. In addition, on the bottom left is a scratch off label that would provide a code for three months of Spotify Premium for free.

Flexi Disc Magazine Insert

In addition to the flexi disc postcards, this campaign would also incorporate regular, 7x7 inch, flexi discs to be distributed in magazines. This flexi disc comes with the same promo code for Spotify Premium that the postcards do.
